Did you love the Ryder Cup?

Well you are in store for some more USA versus the world action in the next couple of weeks. In a few weeks the USA will be taking on International in the latest Presidents Cup battle at Liberty National Golf Club. Recently the names of the players were finalized by the captains.

USA’s captain Steve Stricker finalized his roster by picking Phil Mickelson and Charley Hoffman to go along with Dustin Johnson, Jordan Spieth, Justin Thomas, Rickie Fowler, Daniel Berger, Brooks Koepka, Kevin Kisner, Patrick Reed, Matt Kuchar and Kevin Chappell.

The International’s captain Nick Price picked Emiliano Grillo and Anirban Lahiri as his 11th and 12th men. They will join Hideki Matsuyama, Jason Day, Adam Scott, Louis Oosthuizen, Marc Leishman, Charl Schwartzel, Branden Grace, Si Woo Kim, Jhonattan Vegas and Adam Hadwin.

The International’s team plans on turning the tides on a very one sided event as of late. In the last ten President’s Cups they are 1-9 and haven’t really had a pray. With a strong team headlined by Matsuyama, Day and Scott I think this year will be a lot closer than past years.

On the other side, the Americans are looking stronger than ever. You have a three headed monster in Spieth, Thomas and Johnson. It will be hard to defeat those guys who have been playing out of their mind this season.

Not to mention the fact that they all seem to play so much better when it is for their country. It is something about wearing that red, white and blue and going against the guys from across the pond that makes it so intriguing. The tournament is slated for September 26th to October 1st.

More information on TV coverage can be found online but you wont want to miss this event.
