Cobra Golf Junior Single Length Irons
One of the struggles with learning the game of golf is the setup.
How far away you should be from the golf ball with your 4 iron, compared to a pitching wedge, differs based on the length of the irons.
Well learning the game of golf just got a whole lot easier for juniors when Cobra announced a junior line of their single-length irons.
The set comes with a 5 iron, 7 iron, 9 iron, pitching wedge and sand wedge. All the clubs are the same length but the lie angle, loft and weight all differ between clubs so they carry different distances.
The huge advantage these irons have for young kids is that for all of their irons they will only have one setup for all five clubs.
This is a huge advantage when teaching young kids, the game because the golf swing has so many components to it already, if you can simplify the setup and make that second nature, it will make the game so much easier. Also with a single length you can have the same swing plane, creating one swing for all your irons.
It is almost like baseball, every time you step to the plate, you have the same setup.
Tom Olsavsky, Vice President of R&D for Cobra Golf talked about these irons impact, “We tested these irons among a wide range of skill levels ranging in age from 13-15 and we found that universally they delivered more consistency and better performance for these younger golfers.”
These clubs will cost you $449.00 dollars on the Cobra website, but before you know it, your kid will be hitting the ball better than you.
